2000 TVR TUSCAN

Tough decision but I’ve decided to put my gorgeous 2000 MK1 4.0 Tuscan, finished in Imperial Blue, on the market. I may be biased but I think this is one of the nicest out there and as you can see from the mileage, currently just under 27k and the history below, it’s led a cosseted but extremely well maintained life. Completed a 2000 mile trip to Northern Spain/France in May this year and the car was absolutely faultless and a joy to drive. Paintwork is excellent with only a few stone chips but they are hard to see. Interior finished in cream and blue leather and wool carpets is immaculate.

FSH mainly by Powers, Str8Six.

Full retrim in leather and wool carpets by DC Trim

New AJP Clutch, slave cylinder, clutch release bearing by Powers at 21k miles.

Alpine Halo 9 ICE fitted, Hertz speakers, Eaton sub woofer. Unit gives full DAB radio and Apple Car Play function and has great sound. Cost of supply and fitting over £2k.

LED front lights, daytime running/indicators fitted by Option 1.

Refurbished steering rack, full geo set up, new front and rear brake pads, new fuel hoses, new battery fitted by Powers at 22k miles.

New stainless steel rear window catches fitted replacing the old plastic ones.

New heat shield fitted to under bonnet/engine compartment.

New rollover valve installed.

New Powertech carbon end cans fitted giving nice sound but not overly loud.

Full engine rebuild to Red Rose Spec done by Powers at mileage of 24k. New everything and full guarantee for three years (2027). Rebuild also included a few upgrades including the more powerful starter motor, refurbed throttle bodies, full set of silicone hoses, repainted rocker covers etc. At the same time I had all the Gaz Golds sent off and fully refurbed so these are now as new. Included new rear brake discs, new handbrake cable, uprated engine mounts.

Four new Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tyres fitted at 25k miles.

New Motoclan windscreen and new alloy radiator fitted by Andy at Specialist Sports Cars at mileage of 26k.

Comes with built in battery conditioner, two keys and immobilisers, one new one from HF Solutions and will retain private plates if an agreeable price is reached.

As you can see there is really nothing the car needs. It drives exceptionally well and with the engine rebuild performance is excellent and the improvement in torque it gives makes it a nice smooth drive. There are genuinely no known faults with this car and I'm sure Dom at Powers who has done a lot of the servicing and rebuild work would be happy to confirm this.
