This one is an original John Cooper Garages supplied example, has an odometer reading of 49000 miles, and has had just 2 owners since 2005.

Specification includes:

• Sportspack with wide arches and 13x6 Ultralite wheels, shod with a matching set of Yokohama tyres

• Auxiliary front lights (2 spotlamps, 2 fog)

• Le Mans style fuel filler cap

• Large bore exhaust

Inside, it’s standard, including the stereo and retains all it’s Cooper door furniture, 2-tone steering wheel, walnut dash, immobiliser etc.

History-wise, we have the original book pack including the original stamped service book (most early services by John Cooper Garages) and a sheaf of bills and old MOT’s.

The previous owner tells us that it underwent a professional respray in the original colour scheme around 2022, and the condition of the bodywork more than supports that – it’s pretty special looking.

NB there is an old John Cooper Works sticker on the rocker cover. Whilst there’s no certificate paperwork to confirm it’s been fitted with the Works conversion, it certainly feels rather quicker than a standard MPi example, and, as it was originally supplied by John Coopers themselves, and serviced by them for the first 5 years, it may have said conversion.
