Porsche Cayman 3.8 981 GT4 (385 PS) - Ultra rare PTS "Mexico Blue"/Just serviced/12-month+ warranty/No expense spared!

Extremely reluctant sale of this jaw-droppingly gorgeous Porsche Cayman GT4 that belonged to my late father. He purchased it from Porsche Centre Hatfield in 2017 as a present to himself whilst undergoing treatment for prostate cancer (he was the second owner).
Put simply, this is a stunningly beautiful example of the ‘OG’ 981 Cayman GT4. Resplendent in “Mexico Blue”, a Paint to Sample (PTS), non-standard colour at the time of order (and since discontinued) - and set against black 20” Boxster Spyder wheels with yellow calipers (PCCB), it is a truly unique and eye-catching GT4 that really stands out amongst the ubiquitous (and rather safe) white, black and silver variants of this model.
I have it on good authority that you can count the number of PTS Mexico Blue GT4s allocated to the UK on one hand - and of those, apparently one has been written off…
So, what you have here is an extremely rare and even more desirable version of the GT4, irrespective of model year!
Every worthwhile extra has been included in the spec - carbon ceramic brakes, 918 bucket seats, Sports Chrono pack, Sports Exhaust, extended leather dash (with matching Alcantara), and upgraded speakers. The interior is black with contrasting yellow stitching, topped off with carbon effect centre console and leather dashboard.
The additional extras and their part numbers are:
619 - Mobile phone preparation
878 - Black smooth leather steering wheel rim and gear lever
581 - Passenger footwell storage net
490 - Sound Package Plus
643 - Sport Chrono Package incl. Porsche Track Precision App and preparation for laptrigger
P23 - Porsche Communication Management (PCM) including navigation module
691 - Digital radio
620 - Bi-Xenon-Headlights incl. Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS) in black
802 - Rear wing supports in black
XHM - Centre console trim in carbon
EGA - Carbon interior package (with leather interior)
P11 - Full bucket seats
450 - Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB)
XDK - Boxster Spyder wheels painted in satin Black (complete)
750 - Stitching in contrasting colour
XHN - Racing Yellow seat belts
085 - Fuel tank 64-litre
583 - Smoking package
Its last two services have been undertaken by renowned Porsche specialists, RPM Technik, the latest one as recently as May 2025. In addition to the service, no expense was spared for additional works (£5K+) - here is the main list of what was done:
* Major service (inc. spark plug and brake fluid change)
* Pre Purchase Inspection (PPI)
* New OEM Banner AGM battery fitted and coded
* MOT
* All four wheels refurbished (factory black satin paint)
* New Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres fitted all round
* Geometry Setup
With regards to the service history of the car under dad’s ownership - please bear in mind that although he went into remission soon after purchasing the car, the cancer came back in a more aggressive form a few years later and the car was driven less and less as his conditioned worsened, hence the long gaps in between services:
20/10/18 – Intermediate Service – Porsche Hatfield (5,028 miles)
01/12/21 – 20K service – RPM Technik (8,197 miles)
12/05/25 – 120K service – RPM Technik (8,574 miles)
In the coming days the car will undergo a professional valet and detail, including but not limited to, clay bar treatment and paint decontamination. Moreover, I have a 12+2-months free (14-month total) comprehensive warranty (comparable to Porsche warranty) on standby with Warrantywise, which I will start and pay for in full on the day the proud new owner of this car drives it away.
In the interests of transparency, I refuse to give Porsche UK my money as they have managed to properly p*ss me off when I was enquiring about adding a warranty to the car...
Given the above and all things considered, I believe I am justified in pricing the car at the very upper ceiling of the market. To date, I have never seen another GT4 - be it 981 or 718 - in Mexico Blue, coupled with its low mileage and the time and attention it’s had lavished on it of late, and you have one of the most unique and in my opinion the best looking example of the GT4!
If you’re interested, I ask of you just one thing - see the other GT4s you want to check out first, and only then see this one. Because I’m absolutely certain you’ll want to take this one once you've seen it in the flesh :)
Car will be provided with two keys and all relevant paperwork.
