This beautifully preserved and well-loved Dino underwent a complete bare metal, concours level restoration by Moto Technique in the early 90’s. The two year project covered all areas of the car mechanical and aesthetic to produce a world class car.

Under the current ownership since 2004, this Dino has been consistently maintained by Ferrari main dealer and marques specialists throughout its life and drives accordingly.

Accompanied by an extensive history file detailing the entire service history, parts purchases and the restoration, this is one of the most complete and delightful Dino’s we’ve seen.

Ordered for UK importer Maranello Concessionaires Ltd 14th May 1971, first registered in the UK 05.10.1971

Initial dealer spec. was Azzuro Dino with Black interior. RHD, 5 light alloy wheels, tool kit

The spec. was revised under order of Mr. P Fattorini of Ilkley, Yorkshire to Dino Blue with Black interior, also requested fitment of electric windows, Nose bar, radio with roof aerial and Perspex headlight covers - taking delivery on October 6th 1971.

The history file shows the car was looked after by Racespeed, Finchley Road, London during the late 1970’s and early 80s including full engine and gearbox rebuild (’76) and yearly (often more regular) servicing.

Ownership passed to J.D Britton who subsequently sold on the car to David Smith in 1991. Mr Smith worked with specialist Moto Technique to deliver the restoration project throughout 1991 and 1992 resulting in a Concours competition level car that was presented at a number of Owners Club events during the period. It was at this stage the car was re-trimmed from Black to Tan leather.

In 1998 the car was purchased by Robert Jenkins of Chalfont St. Giles Buckinghamshire with the odometer reading 49,722 miles keeping the car for a a number of years before passing to the current owner in December 2004 via Maranello Sales, Egham.
