BMW E30 325i Sport MTech 2 Manual

Unmodified, original, genuine E30 325i Sport manual MTech2.

I bought this car from a friend in 2007. I’ve now owned it for 18 years. Garaged throughout my ownership and rarely used since 2010 as I’ve always had other vehicles too.

Always started, run up to temperature, and driven up and down the driveway every few months and maintained regardless of lack of use.

Original 2.5L M20 6 cyl engine (154k miles), 5 speed sport gearbox and LSD all still fitted, well maintained and healthy.

Original sport interior with check control panel, black headlining, map lights in rear view mirror, electric tilt slide sunroof, electric windows, remote central locking, battery in the boot, pop out rear windows etc. See photos.

Original 15in BBS wheels and centre caps still present with original locking wheel nuts.

Original spare wheel, jack, wheel-brace and toolkit (see photos).

All service history from day one, two fobs, all locks use the same original key (several spare keys included).

Radiator and timing belt replaced in 2022, coolant changed, oil and filter etc.

Full brake overhaul ahead of the last MOT in 2017 and little use since but regularly started, correct fluids changed based on time not mileage.

The car doesn't have a current MOT and requires repairs to the ‘jacking points’ to obtain one. I recently ordered repair panels from Valcas garage in Lithuania which are included in the sale. I have included photos.

The new owner may want to do some minor restoration work to return the car to excellent condition. I had planned to do the same but have been working on a back to bare brick house renovation for several years instead so realistically won’t get time and would like a new enthusiast to enjoy the car instead.

It would need some remedial work to the rear sides of the boot floor (jack pocket and battery pocket pictured), the top of the back panel above the lights where the boot shuts, front jacking points as mentioned and I'm sure elsewhere. There are a few rust blisters on the bonnet and sunroof but generally it's in very good original condition for a 36 year old car and original paint aside from one front wing which was replaced when my friend owned the car around 2004 - 2007.

Note you will need a trailer to collect the car, or arrange professional collection, no MOT so cannot be driven home.

Some spare parts included, plus repair panels mentioned and a full genuine BMW gearshift bush repair kit and short shift rod from a Z3 should the new owner wish to fit it.
