The third generation of the Clio sport offered an ample 200bhp combined with fantastic handling. So, when you use that as a base to build a track car to a very high specification, you get a hot hatch that is capable of out pacing far more expensive machinery on the track. Enthusiast owned and kept in secure storage, this Albi Blue 197 has had a Megane engine swap that has been forged and produces an impressive 377bhp. The owner has done the right thing and improved everything else as well. The car forms part of a collection of cars and has seen a handful of Trackday’s in current ownership. It is road legal, although the plated diff is very aggressive for road use. It drives well on road and track with good boost uptake and ample traction considering the power. Stereo and as much interior as possible has been retained. It had a professional engine swap in 2017 with a stock motor and then the car was upgraded to its current spec in 2019.
