This car has recently completed a 5 year, no expense spared, fully documented nut and bolt restoration using all the best parts starting with :-
Engine - 408 Stroker built by EDA Castleford, giving approx. 450 hp and 500 torque.
Transmission – rebuilt Heavy duty C4 by Alders with B & M shifter.
Hughes heavy duty torque convertor.
Rear End – Ford 9” with 3.5 gears and LSD supplied and built by Hauser Racing.
Brakes – Wilwood drilled and slotted discs all round and lo cal handbrake.
Suspension – All new heavy duty with KY Shocks.
Exhaust - Ceramic coated headers and full stainless exhaust with electric cut outs by Tony Banks Leeds.
All new glass & trim.
Digital Dakota Clocks.
All new interior including Shelby steering wheel with tilt column.
Borgeson power steering box and pump.
All new lights, bumpers & wiring and heater.
Custom made HD frame connectors.
Shelby fibreglass nose cone, bonnet, boot & side scoops.
New Magnum 500 wheels & tyres.
All steel panels have been replaced including full floor pan and bulk head.
As you can see by the list, the car is 80% brand new and covered approx 120 miles to date but this may increase depending on the weather!!.
