Here for sale is a very special car. Number 8 of only 50 Silverstone GP Limited Edition Cars produced to celebrate the Silverstone British Grand Prix in 2011. In 2022 it underwent a Megane RS250 Turbo engine conversion with an exceptionally low mileage engine. This is the Car Renault Sport should have always made.

This is the second Clio 200 Silverstone GP that I have owned, having moved on to a MK3 RS265 Megane I missed the Clio so bought this one, then had the Meglio conversion done after missing the power and torque of a turbo. (Best of both worlds in my opinion). The conversion was done by BeanieSport respected Renault Sport specialists in May 2022. I consider the Car OEM++ in that where possible the upgrades are all genuine Renault Sport (V6 Airbox, Cup Racer 8J Wheels, Genuine Renault Sport front lip, side skirts etc.).

I drove the car daily up until January 2024 when I bought a Megane 300 Trophy. Since then, the Car has been kept warm and dry in my garage, started every week and taken on drives to car shows. I’ve had all the arch liners off to give everything a good clean and check over. I have never tracked the car it has only ever had normal road use. I have loved this Car and spent a small fortune on it, as you’ll see when you see all the documented history and receipts. I thought I’d never sell the car, but I think I’m ready to let it go, even though it won’t be easy.

It would make a great daily car, or a weekend fun car, it would obviously make a great track day car. I can’t see this car going down in value, given the rarity of the Silverstone GP and the quality of the conversion so would also serve as a great investment. I hope it finds a great new home and someone who will love it as much as I have. I’m sure I’ll have missed some details, feel free to ask any questions. Here’s a summary.

Details

• MOT due 19th October 2025. (no advisories)

• The mileage on the Clock is 84k

• The mileage since conversion is just 9k (conversion done when car was on 75k miles)

• The mileage on the Engine is only 13k! (with proof of mileage). I have the receipt for when this engine was brand new. (Just 4k Miles on the Engine when transplanted).

• Full-service history for the Car and the Engine and an enormous number of receipts and documentation. All the original handbooks etc. The documentation on this Car is outstanding. I have a spreadsheet summarising everything which I can forward to the new owner.

• Recently serviced ready for the new owner.

• 2 keys in great condition.

• The V5 document has even been updated with the New Megane RS250 Engine Number.

• When the conversion was done in May 2022. It made sense to replace the Cambelt, Aux belt etc. So, this is not due until May 2028. I also had a fresh new Clutch, master cylinder etc at the time of the conversion.

• Car will come with Registration number GP08 REN. The car being No.08 Silverstone GP Renault.

Engine

• Megane 250 Turbo Engine F4RT 843 ECU and Wiring Loom, Conversion by BeanieSport in May 2022. The engine was brand new Feb 2020 I have the receipts and had only 4182miles on it when transplanted.

• Mapped at Engine Dynamics 307BHP/306Ibft Torque. Since then, it has been fitted with the V6 airbox and a Sports catalytic converter fitted so probably a little lower now.

• Paint Correction and Ceramic Coated by Adept Wrapping

Interior

• Full half leather half alcantara retrim by Edge Automotive with Custom Silverstone GP 8/50 embroidery. The interior is immaculate.

• Leather Steering Wheel Retrim by Royal Steering Wheels

• 3-gauge center pod with Stack Mechanical Boost Gauge, Oil Temp and Volts gauge. I also have a set of the same gauges but in Black if the white gauge is not for you.

• In addition, the Renault Sport RS Monitor is still connected to the car. It is tucked away behind the dash. Making this modification very easy to reverse if you prefer the OEM set up.

• Digital DAB Radio through the standard head unit.

• White Gauge Card conversion with appropriate lower red line. I also have the Black Gauge card available. This is very easy to swap over if the white is not to your taste.

• Custom 8/50 Silverstone GP Sill plates by Supreme Motorsport
