2000 PORSCHE CARRERA

This 2000 Porsche 996 Carrera is a real unicorn car. It’s finished in super-rare Vesuvio Grey Metallic, which is a rich, deep shade which offers a subtle glint of purple in the sunshine. It’s a stunning colour that we have not seen before, and is offset by a set of Turbo Twist alloy wheels with coloured centre crests.

The interior is Space Grey with sumptuous Ruffled Leather seats. It boasts a three-spoke leather steering wheel, an Alcantara headlining, the original CR22 head unit, and even has the original cassette holders in the centre console. A rare option for a 996 is cruise control.

Being a rear-wheel drive Carrera with a manual gearbox and no traction control, this Porsche not only looks great, it also offers the pure 996 driving experience, too. In other words, it’s a lot of fun!

This lovely Porsche is in superb condition, inside and out. It has a well-documented service history with just four owners from new; the last for 13 years. There is a large folder of paperwork, including old MoT certificates and receipts for servicing and other work done over the years. Looking back over these, it is very apparent that this is a Porsche that has been properly maintained, regardless of cost. The most recent invoice is for a major service in June 2025, when the spark plugs were changed, new heat shields and exhaust clamps fitted, and a full four-wheel alignment undertaken. Other recent work of note includes new air-conditioning condensers, new clutch and power steering rack, an uprated ceramic IMS bearing, plus much more.
