First delivered on the 8th of August 1986 The following factory options had been specified when ordering this car new from Porsche: Grand Prix White Marine Blue Leather Bumper w. Impact Absorber Passenger Side Electric Door Mirror Blaupunkt Toronto SQR 45 Radio Central Locking Grand Prix White Painted Impeller Wheel 16-Inch Forged Wheel Rear Wiper Comfort Seats Front & Rear Spoilers Sports Shock Absorbers Green Tinted Windscreen Whilst the cars early history isn't present, in 2014 through to 2018 the car was recommissioned to bring it back up to a very good useable standard at a cost of just under £18,000. Since its recommissioning in 2018, it has been annually serviced, with remedial work carried out along the way. Most recently, before coming up for sale with ourselves, the car was taken to JZM Porsche for a full health check. A report was drawn up with advisories given, of which all were completed at a cost of just under £4,000. Because of the lack of early history with the car, we also had a compression test carried out to gauge the engines health, and we are happy to report that they all came back between 160-180 psi. Having just personally driven the car for over 100 miles, I can certainly confirm that it drives incredibly well. The whole car feels tight, and still has that wonderful flat 6 engine note. On a sunny day with the roof out, it's really hard to think of another car that would make you feel as good as this!
