2003 BMW M3

This BMW (E46) M3 CSL is an acclaimed modern classic performance hero, recently serviced in March 2025.

It is powered by a naturally aspirated 3.2-litre ‘S54’ straight-six, delivering 360bhp to the rear wheels via a six-speed ‘SMG’ automated manual transmission with paddle shift.

This M3 CSL was originally delivered to the UK, where it was registered as ‘PJ53 UYX’, before later being exported to Hong Kong in 2020.. It remains unregistered in Hong Kong, stored in the my garage.

The odometer shows 61,480 miles.

EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES

Unveiled as the pared-back flagship model of the E46-generation M3 range, the CSL weighed 110kg less than the standard coupe courtesy of a carbon-fibre roof, air box, front splitters, and rear diffuser, as well as thinner rear windscreen glass.

This example is finished in Silver Grey Metallic over an Anthracite ‘Amaretta’ synthetic suede-trimmed interior, featuring ‘Reflex’ cloth seat inserts, a carbon-fibre transmission tunnel and door cards, and dark silver-toned inlays.

It rides on a set of 19-inch ‘Style 163M’ forged alloy wheels, fitted with Michelin tyres.

Equipment includes climate control, a BMW CD stereo, and a switchable sport mode.

Accompanying the sale is the owner’s book pack, various maintenance invoices, first aid kit, warning triangle, toolkit, and tyre inflator.

SERVICE HISTORY

The car was last serviced in March 2025, which included replacing the engine oil, oil filter, fuel pump.

Previous recorded services were carried out by BMW Barons Hindhead in March 2018 at 60,146 miles, BMW Specialist Cars in May 2016 at 58,135 miles, and BMW Cooper Croydon in October 2014 at 51,460 miles.

The battery has also been replaced.
