Manufactured by Porsche-Diesel Motorenbau GmbH it was produced in four different variations

It features frameless block construction with a live portal axle at the rear and a dead beam axle with a central pivot point at the front

Drum brakes at the rear either of which can act as a steering brake

Powered by an air-cooled, two-cylinder, 1.6-litre diesel rated at 28bhp
