PORSCHE 911 (996) GT3 1999

This 1999 Porsche 996 GT3 Mki is  a rare and very desirable car, equally at home on road or track. The Mk1 GT3 was a limited production car; just 1868 were built, of which only 308 were right-hand drive, while just 106 of those were sold in the UK with the C16 country code. And it is believed that only 16 UK cars were Guards Red, so this really is a rare beast!

The iconic Guards Red is complemented by 18-inch two-piece SportDesign wheels with grey centres and stainless steel tailpipes.

The interior boasts carbonfibre bucket seats and red seatbelts. The car has the Leather and Carbon package, which consists of black leather seats, dashboard and doors, plus carbonfibre trim around the dials, and the front and rear centre consoles. Other options include a CDR22 radio/CD player, climate control, trip computer, Porsche crests on the headrests and a lower centre console with CD holders.

The Porsche has covered just 35,000 miles from new and it has a well-documented service history. Recent work of note includes a suspension overhaul with rebuilt Bilstein dampers and new bushings, new brake discs and pads all round, new M&M silencers, air-conditioning overhaul. The most recent service was by well-known Porsche specialist Nine Excellence, just 500 miles ago.
