Overview

A striking Jaguar E-Type, fully restored and re-engineered by E-Type UK in 2019, and specified as a fast road car for modern performance and usability.

Originally discovered in a garage in the South East of England, where it had been stored since 1979, the car remained largely complete but required a comprehensive rebuild to bring it back to the standard you see today.

Undergoing a full nut-and-bolt restoration at our Kent-based facility, the car was rebuilt from the ground up with significant attention given to the body and structure. Extensive metalwork was carried out, including replacement of the floors, bonnet, doors and rear arches, resulting in a car that is both structurally excellent and visually outstanding.

Finished in Opalescent Silver Blue over Oxblood Red, it presents as a highly desirable and well-considered example.

This is not a standard restoration — it is a carefully specified fast road E-Type, designed to deliver a more capable and usable driving experience.

With a number of well-chosen upgrades, the car offers improved performance, drivability and reliability, making it far better suited to modern conditions than a standard car.

Preparation & Use

Since completion in 2019, the car has covered fewer than 2,000 miles and has been carefully maintained throughout. It presents today in excellent condition and is ready to be driven and enjoyed.
