1963 ROVER MINI

We are extremely excited to be able to bring to market this incredible little motor vehicle.

First registered in November of 1963, this Morris Mini 848 was cherished by just 4 owners until being purchased by the team at Swiftune in 2020 on behalf of the Gentleman who entrusted them to build Swiftune Madgwick 'No.8', after reading Octane magazines article on the bespoke builds.

Fast forward to the middle of 2022 & the car is completed to the following specification,

- Hand built & tested 1330cc A series engine with power at circa 110bhp @ 6500rpm & 100 lb ft torque.

- Twin H4 SU w/ FIA race trumpets

- Four speed close ratio helical, central oil pick up

- Uprated diff unit with 3.1 final drive ratio. Heavy duty drive shafts.

- Faster power steering using quick rack with race proven geometry set up.

- Bespoke Koni/Madgwick damper set up.

- 10" Rose petal wheels w/ Dunlop 165/70/10 tyres.

- 7.5 S discs with competition brake pads, alloy rear drums

- Lightened to approx 700kg's total weight.

- Top speed, 112mph

This stunning example cost in excess of £75,000 to build, is finished absolutely beautifully in Tweed Grey following bare metal restoration with many bespoke options & shows just 250 miles since completion. The car is perfect in every single way & ready for its next enthusiastic owner.
