2005 RENAULT CLIO

I have owned this car since March 2020 and covered 20,000 enjoyable miles in it (mostly fast road but with one track visit in 2020). An opportunity to buy another very special 182 came up, so this is now looking for the next enthusiast owner.

Odometer reads 157,800 miles. MoT expires 21 February 2026. HPI clear. Two keys.

First for the bad bits, all cosmetic:

- Rust bubbles on the edge of the OS rear arch - has not degraded at all during my ownership

- OSF leading edge of the bonnet has bubbles

- Front bumper is scuffed and has two repaired cracks

- Scuff on the rear bumper NS corner

- Surface rust on the OS rear turret top and cage where some water got in a few years ago (has not degraded further)

- Headlights could use a polish

- Clock resets itself on start

- Fuel and temp gauge backlight bulbs not working

Engine:

- 438 Catcams and KTEC map (dyno’ed at 197 bhp in March 2020)

- KTEC induction kit (freshly cleaned and oiled in preparation for sale)

- In my ownership engine oil and filter and pollen filter changed every year / 5,000 miles, freshly changed as well as gearbox oil in preparation for sale

- Custom decat resonated exhaust (tips protrude past bumper and may not pass MoT)

- Spare unresonated pipe will come with the car

- New radiator and AC condenser supplied and fitted by AW Motorworks June 2020

- BTT exhaust brackets fitted May 2022

- Belts, dephaser and water pump supplied and fitted by AW Motorworks November 2023

- New top engine mount November 2023

- New gearbox mount May 2025

- New spark plugs July 2025

Transmission, suspension, brakes, wheels and tyres:

• PMS shifter

• OEM Cup dampers with Cooksport springs all round

• Renault Cup wishbones with Powerflex Black bushes

• Genuine Renault ball joints, inner and outer tie rods and Powerflex Purple front anti-roll bar bushes fitted new June 2020

• Replacement OSF outer tie rod May 2025

• OEM rims in excellent condition, recently refurbished (centre caps not fitted due to wheel studs, but will come with the sale)

• Yokohoma AD08R 205/45/16 tyres all round with 5mm (not to be confused with the inferior AD08RS)

• PMS studs and nuts

• Goodridge brake lines, Brembo HC discs, OEM front pads and DS2500 rear pads (part-worn set of DS1.11 front pads will come with the sale)

Interior:

- Fully stripped, rear seats removed and replaced with boot carpet February 2020

- Fulcrum Motorsports full cage in gloss black fitted February 2020

- Track Car Door Cards front and rear in 2mm gloss black with yellow door handles (retaining electric window and mirror switches) February 2020

- Corbeau XL bucket seats (new December 2019) with 6-point Sabelt driver’s harness fitted by AW Motorworks with spreader plates on the floorpan, and 4-point Sabelt passenger’s harness

- Sabelt steering wheel with carbon effect horn push

- Volantech cruise control panel

- 2x USB connectors in lieu of head unit

- AC and cruise control fully functional
