MG B ROADSTER

This lot will be auctioned via Iconic Auctioneers, The Classic Sale at Silverstone Festival 2025 on Sunday the 24th of August, The Wing, Silverstone Circuit, NN12 8TN.

Known by it’s internal codename of MG EX205, the MG B began production in 1962 and in one form or another was around until 1995

Powered by the 1,798cc B-series four-cylinder producing 95bhp and 110lb/ft of torque when new resulting in a respectable 108mph  

This example is classically presented in British Racing Green with a black, piped in white, leather interior and silver wire wheels

From 27 years long-term ownership, however, the sale is being dealt with by the owner's family who have confirmed that the MG hasn't been used for 15 years

The odometer displays just 8,100 although we would imagine this was as a result of a speedo change or restoration perhaps

The general condition of the car suggests it's an older restoration with only a few thousand miles since. There is no relevant paperwork

An element of recommissioning is to be expected although this desirable pull-handle MG B is an excellent foundation for those wanting to return a classic back to the road
