History & Maintenance

• Full service history with a thick folder of receipts dating back to 2004.

• Early years with Porsche main dealers, later with respected specialists.

• Major 2018 service (£4,900) included: replacement brake lines, Dansk silencer kit, new engine mounts, IMS bearing (double row), dual mass flywheel, and clutch.

• My ownership since Aug 2023: ~£5,000 spent at Porsche specialist Quorn Classics on suspension work, steering rack, new air-con radiators, sill rust repair, new battery, and more.

• Most recent service: Aug 2024 at same specialist.

Upgrades & Improvements

• Black 997 seats (lower and more supportive).

• Re-trimmed and thickened three-spoke steering wheel by Royal Steering Wheels.

• New gear knob, pedals, and front blue seatbelts.

• Osram Night Breaker headlights for vastly improved visibility.

• Various trim pieces refreshed or replaced in black for contrast with the original graphite grey interior.

The Drive

Tight, responsive, and confidence-inspiring — the recent suspension and steering work really shows.

Sounds fantastic thanks to the Dansk exhaust, and the IMS upgrade offers extra peace of mind.
