BIKE ENGINED KIT CAR

I’m reluctantly selling my Fury as I’ve just passed my bike test and need the room in the garage.

If you are looking for an introduction to bike engined cars then this would be an ideal starting point.

It has just passed its MOT and so it’s MOT doesn’t expire until 31st August 2026.

Honda Fireblade engine (SC33 CBR900RR 919cc) Dynojetted carbs, (previously tuned and looked after by Boggs Bros) - aluminium baffled sump - approximately 130bhp in a vehicle that weighs circa 500kg. Paddle shift gear change. Electric reverse. Freelander open diff which gives excellent gearing. 13,300 miles.

Full independent rear suspension lightweight chassis, fully adjustable AVO coil overs that have been set up and corner weighted for a 75kg driver. Lemans body with windscreen.

13 inch Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 alloy wheels with Toyo R888 tyres.

Wilwood Ultralite front calipers (brand new and fitted last year) with Polymatrix A pads - Brake Bias adjustable via balance bar on brake pedal

Odyssey Extreme lightweight race battery with new MOSFET rectifier (also fitted last year)

Lightweight JK composites fixed fibreglass race seats with 4 point 3 inch Schroth harnesses.

Removable alcantara steering wheel with integral indicator buttons.

Full flat floor. Carbon fibre front spoiler.

Kit purchased from the Kit Car Workshop in 2005, I am the fourth owner. I’ve owned it for 4 years and had a tremendous amount of fun in it - the only reason I’m selling is that I’ve decided to go to the dark side and become a bike rider and I need the garage space. I shall be very sorry to see it go. This is a very capable car with a huge amount of grip that is set up for track, but can also be used quite easily for fast road. It comes with some spares such as a set of spare wheels with slicks, 2 x lower rating springs if you choose to soften the suspension, LED rear lights that I’ve not got round to fitting, and a full tonneau cover to keep the elements off the interior.

Any inspection is welcome and I’m happy to take prospective buyers out for a spin - however please be mindful the seats are fixed in position and I’m just over 5ft 7 so it will be passenger rides only. I’m based in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire - about 2 minutes from junction 15 of the M6.
