A gorgeous Z4 M coupe in rare Sepang Bronze, with very low mileage and perfect history.

Hardcore. Brutal. Focused. Uncompromising. Rewarding. These are just some of the adjectives used to describe one of the most pure BMW M cars to come out of the 21st century so far.

As BMW’s Motorsport Division began to get a bit of flack from traditional M drivers, who felt that the latest generation M cars (back in 2005) were becoming too safe, too controlled, with their surfeit of driver aids and creature comforts, the decision was made to prove a point by producing this no holds barred, raw two-seater monster. Transplanting the world beating 3.2 straight six S54 from the then current M3, this time BMW were able to squeeze the full potential from the engine and by mating it with a tauter, lighter more focused chassis produced a car that would silence all their critics. Taking the original Z3-based, left-field M coupe (or Z3 M Coupe, as many would call it) and building on its cult popularity, the team at BMW M certainly succeeded in their mission. But they also built a beautiful car, and in this particular colour – Sepang bronze – it looks utterly stunning. We believe that of the 1052 E86 M Coupes (to give it the official name) produced in RHD only 10 were produced in SB (shame!). We recently met the organiser of the ‘SMCM’ (Sepang M Coupe membership) owners group, who were delighted to find the missing #10! The genuine CSL wheels add the final, super-popular flourish, making this probably the prettiest Z4 M Coupe we’ve seen.

Throughout its life this car has clearly been owned by enthusiasts (nobody buys a car like this by accident) who have made sure that the car is serviced to perfection with full main dealer/Munich Legends history.
