Overview

Even though it’s more than twenty years after it was built, this Boxster looks ready to hit the road and shuttle you around in style. It is testament to the durability of design and engineering that the shape and style of this car still look far younger than their years, so you won’t look out of place wherever your destination might be.

First registered in 2004, this particular car has been driven sparingly in the intervening years. It has only clocked up an average of a few thousand miles per annum, and this shows in the condition of the interior, the upholstery, and the paint. Yes, there is some slight wear, as you would expect to see, but not much more than a few creases in the leather seats and some usual small stonechips in the paint.

And when the weather gets a bit balmy you’ll be wanting to get some fresh air by deploying the electronic folding roof. Its soft top fabric remains very smart, with no damage that we could see, and hardly any fading.

A good pile of historical documentation accompanies this Boxster, with a reassuring number of stamps in the service record. And crucially, it comes with an invoice for a major service including replacing the clutch, intermediate shaft seal, and rear main seal.

So if you’re looking for a presentable example of the car which is credited with reviving Porsche’s sales figures, then this Boxster has a lot to offer.
