2005 LOTUS EXIGE

Reluctant sale of my S2 Lotus Exige as moving abroad. This is the spec to have, in Solar Yellow pre supercharger, with only mild modifications and preventative work.

No silly offers please, as I would put it into storage at much less.

Regardless if you buy this one, highly recommend an S2 Exige, the best car I have owned among over 30 cars - cheap to run, constantly appreciating and a joy to drive. We live in Kensington & Chelsea and this gets more attention than the many supercars here.

Lotus Exige S2 Touring Pack in rare Solar Yellow

Excellent condition and all of the important improvements and preventative work done. Regretful sale owing to an international move. The previous owner did an amazing job looking after the car as have I.

• Rare desirable spec of Solar Yellow with the Touring Pack.

• The car is in exceptional condition.

• These are reliable and the running costs are extremely low (my insurance is GBP400 and the tax GBP400).

• Full detailed service record, with a plethora of receipts (detailed below)

• Mileage is currently 81k, and will stay around that as I use it infrequently.

• MOT passed on 1st March 25 with no advisories

• Fully garaged under a covered, and previous owner garaged and only drove it in summer months.

• Light modifications which are the highly desirable / essential ones and cost a lot, but do not impact the insurance (detailed below)

Standard Equipment

• Factory Touring pack including electric windows sound deadening etc.

• Alcantara-trimmed interior, featuring a grey Alcantara-wrapped dashboard, punctuated by aluminium trim.

• On original Y-spoke alloy wheels finished in satin-black in great condition, Yokohama AD08R’s that have only covered around 2K miles, so there’s plenty of tread left.

Upgrades

• Sony Double Din Stereo that is apple Carplay compliant and allows Bluetooth connectivity to your phone along with allowing apps like waze, google maps etc.

• Harness bar fitted

• Uprated Spitfire Rear Toe Links

• Leather Momo steering wheel with a B-G quick-release system (nicer to hold, better for getting in and out, and the best anti theft device in the world!)

• Lotus Stage-2 exhaust system

• TRD airbox

• Short-shift gear lever (makes a hug difference, as any Exige owner)

Bad points:

• As with most Exiges and Elises the AC is not very effective. Could be regassing or more. Not something that has ever bothered me as even in this insane summer with the windows open you don’t need it.

• It is a 2005 car so do not expect it to be a new car. If you are looking for an Exige then you know how rare something like this in this spec with this history and pre supercharger comes up.
