2002 Caterham Superlight R (197bhp/new engine)

The Caterham Superlight R is regarded by some as the perfect Caterham. Throttle bodies, dry sump, LSD and one of the lightest cars Caterham ever produced make this a purest's dream. This particular example has a twist, benefiting from a complete new block and fresh rebuild by Jason Langan at Hellier Performance. The engine build is fully documented and included a freshly rebuilt dry sump pump and all new belts and service items. 

As the number plate denotes, this is SLR number 123 and comes with the usual factory specification and includes Mclaren orange paintwork (though we are not allowed to call it that any more!).

This car is in amazing condition for its age and will give the new owner peace of mind knowing the engine has been built by one of the best K Series experts in the country. 

As with all of our cars, and despite the engine rebuild, this car will undergo our rigorous pre-sale inspection process and ahead of new ownership. The car will be supplied with 12 months MOT and 3 months warranty.
