Radical SR8

2.8L RLM Engine, 430bhp+

No expense spared on complete rebuilds by UKs top Radical race teams. Engine and gearbox fully rebuilt and many receipts to prove. Since rebuilds only light shakedown and 1 trackday, never run in anger.

Most recently prepped for 2025 by North Motorsport with track day test at Knockhill this August (video available on request).

This car was brought to a no expenses spared standard over the last couple of years (engine/box refresh, new ECU/dash and integrated gearshift).

Engine - built RLM to latest SR8 standards. Higher compression JE 84mm pistons, heads gas-flowed, crank rod and piston assembly balanced. Fully remapped for new pistons/heads and run-in on RLM dyno. All RLM build/upgrade recommendations taken.

Gearbox - complete rebuild uk radical team. Full build inc crownwheel & pinion, bearings, bearing cage, ratios, dogs etc.

Bodywork. Under the wrap lies a carbon tub and rear section (very expensive and rare options). Sponsor graphics are on top of wrap and can be removed.

Rebuild work:

All corners stripped/checked and dampers dyno-tested, tweaked.

Full setup by North Motorsport in 2025.

Radiators inspected, pressure tested and leak repaired in left, right radiator re-cored.

Oil coolers flushed and pressure tested.

Side pods removed and repaired where required.

Side skirts removed and repainted.

New Skids.

New front floor side plates.

New water pump plugs.

Cooling fan added.

New radiator brackets.

New side pod grilles.

Fuel pump off kit fitted.

Light loom modification for easier rear connection.

New brake ducts.

Carbon rear wing with SR3-RS style end-plates.

New in-tank fuel pump.

Zero-2020 fire extinguisher serviced early 2024.

New LHS driveshaft.

Driveshaft boots stripped and repacked

Brand new Life ECU (enables extra channels for gearshift).

Complete new engine wiring loom (for new ECU/dash).

Closed-loop Life gearshift control (enabled by new ECU) in order to give modern gearshift and protect box.

Brand new AiM Dash (colour LED screen, CAN integrated to ECU).

Chassis inspection by North Motorsport.

Car supplied with slicks, wets, fuel dump churn, dive planes.

Car supplied with fuel dump churn (with vent valve), extra dive planes.

Included with the car is £5K of gearbox spares inc lots of ratios - shoudl keep the car going for many years.

This is an extremely quick and well prepped SR8.
