Description
Porsche 911 997 Carrera 4S - 64,436 miles - 10 months MOT - Full service history - Engine rebuild
I have owned this stunning vehicle for 14 months with the plan to enjoy the car in the UK over the summer months. Last winter, the car spent the season in Portugal to help preserve it from the UK’s winter weather.
I have covered just over 4,000 miles during my ownership with most of these miles being covered on Spanish, French and Portuguese motorways, so the car has always been well driven.
The car is always left on a trickle charger when not out on the road to keep the battery in top condition.
After I took the car to the Le Mans 24hr race in June this year, I felt I had completed what I set out to do with the car and I now feel the time is right to move it on to the next rightful owner to enjoy it as much as I have.
The car has had no expenses spared during my ownership, with all major jobs being carried out by one of (if not the best) Porsche specialists on the south coast – Bahn Sport, Blandford.
The massive difference for this car over most other 997s of this generation is that it has had a full engine rebuild by Hartech Automotive – one of the most reputable Porsche specialists in the country.
Many 997s of this era suffer with IMS bearing failure or cylinder bore scoring, often requiring an entirely new engine.
This rebuild gives total peace of mind that the engine is bulletproof against these issues and will never need replacement.
(This was the main reason I bought this exact vehicle myself).
The car has just had a full valet and polish, with no dents or damage to the car at all. Just a couple of stone chips consistent with the age of the vehicle.
The car does currently have a small leak in the flexi pipe, which cannot be replaced, so it will need a new back box.
As exhaust choice is often down to personal preference, I’ve decided to leave this to the next owner.
The price has been adjusted accordingly and the car still passed its most recent MOT (09-06-25) with no advisories relating to the leak.
