Wow! How chuffed am I to have one of the rare and wonderful Tuscan ‘Wavy Dash’ Targas in? ‘Very’ is the answer.

A car that I think it’s fair to say has been cherished and loved over the last 19 years. I mean, wait until you see the outrigger protection on it…. Anyway, you don’t want to hear any more waffle, off you go, have a cruise through the service history, and I’ll see you on the other side.

This rare and beautifully presented MK3 Tuscan comes to me with an immaculate service history and in the sort of condition that we all like to see.

The current owner bought the car from Jason & Chas at Str8Six in February 2018, some seven and a half years ago. The car has covered 800 miles in the time he’s had it, and has been kept in pristine condition, as can be seen from the photos.

Possibly more detail than you need, but it’s always nice to see the looks being backed up with the brains.

The car is due for a small service before sale – this will be carried out before collection.

I think we all know that these MK3 Wavy Dash Targas are as rare as a Donald Trump apology, so much so that this is the first one in 19 years that I’ve had. A few convertibles over the years have come through the Shmoo stable, but not a targa.

It’s not hard to see why, just 23 built from what I’ve read, of which 16 were the 4.0S variant, of which this is one – and what a ‘one’ it is…laser blue, 13k, and just blinkin lovely. Somewhat of a collector’s piece, will it stay in Blighty, I wonder..?
