Having only been imported from Japan in August 2023, this car has lived most of its life tucked away being cared for.

Having had regular servicing carried out, all of which is detailed within the history file, we have of course thoroughly checked over the car, serviced & replaced the cambelt as a precaution.

This example has the original booklets, original bill of sale, a comprehensive service history & two original keys with the spare appearing to be unused with the protection still in place on the key blade.

Body & Paintwork

Without doubt one of the best looking colours on the Evo 9 – Electric Blue Pearl / Ruri Blue is a highly desirable colour for a reason.

Having benefitted from a single stage machine polish, the colour looks beautiful!

The car has no dents, or car parking marks & all badges are complete.

All glass is original & all trims are in excellent condition, likewise all lights look stunning all round, with no damage at all.

The wheels have been fully refurbished & look superb.

Only a couple very light stonechips are present on the car, these are extremely minor, especially considering how thin & soft the paintwork is on Evo models.

A truly gorgeous example.

Interior & Trim

The interior of this example demonstrates very low mileage, along with great care.

The stitched seats looks superb, with only slight wear marks on the drivers bolster & a small crack in the passenger back bolster.

We have cleaned & conditioned the leather as part of our preparation to ensure it looks it’s best.

Carbon black dash inserts are again, unmarked & present very well

All switches & buttons work exactly as they should.

Original mats are also still in place & carpets are in great condition as you would hope.

Engine

At the heart of the Evo IX lies Mitsubishi’s legendary 4G63 2.0-litre turbocharged powerhouse, the final & most refined evolution of this iconic engine.

Paired to the slick 6-speed manual gearbox & the sophisticated ACD/AYC all-wheel-drive system, this example feels every bit as tight & responsive as the day it left the factory.

The engine bay itself presents incredibly well & is remarkably clean as you can see from the pictures.

This particular example is nice and quiet, both when cold & warm.

No smoking at all, either on start up, idle, boost or overrun.

Running Gear

Freshly refurbished factory Enkei wheels are unmarked & wear matching quality tyres.

The underside is truly immaculate & presents in original condition, with no corrosion or damage, no restoration works have taken place & is a testament to the car’s careful use & dry storage in Japan.

Brakes & suspension are in excellent order, providing the sharp, precise handling that makes the Evo IX such an icon.
