Finished in Opel Copper over beige leather and lambswool interior

Supplied new by Jensen Motors via official distributor Malaya Garage Ltd of Billingshurst to a local Mr Green of Horsham in January 1974. Clearly enamoured with the car Mr Green would retain the car up until his death some 40 years later. A very passionate Jensen owner and active Jensen Owners Club Member Mr Green achieved multiple concours wins with this car. There are no less than an astonishing 14 JOC Concours d Elegance certificates on file from 1981 - 2012. In 2013 Mr Green had the engine rebuilt and in the interest of thoroughness he had the car inspected by DEKRA to confirm that the work had been carried out to a high and correct standard. Since the original ownership the car has resided in a collection of very exotic cars, being pampered in a style it has been accustomed to.

Offered here complete with original handbook, service voucher booklet, tools etc. There is a Jensen Owners Club valuation on file from 2017 giving a valuation of circa £85,000 which goes to show how remarkable an example this really is. The original Malaya Garage dealer sticker is still present in the rear window! Having only covered a few thousand miles since its last concours win and the aforementioned engine work, and with lots more maintenance invoices on file since, a more honest Interceptor would be incredibly difficult to find.
