FOR SALE 1996 FTO GR

Sadly that time has come for me to sell my FTO after 18 years of ownership. I bought it after it had been in Uk for 6 months. I have loved and cherished it , I am moving on in vehicle and don't have space for it.

Items and details

Stainless steel rear exhaust backbox, looks like standard twin tail pipe but beefier sound. It give just the right amount of extra sound but not over the top

De-cat pipe installed (have old cat section for when you need it – Mot etc)

De-limiter fitted at gearbox sensor end

Elec Glow dials

Factory sports pack :

Abs factory fitted braking system

Momo airbag steering wheel

Poly bushes all round

Black Leather door cards

Full leather interior (not covers but good quality interior matched all round)

Chrome door handles (have original black plastic ones in box)

Pioneer Double din Head unit, cd/dvd satnav, reverse camera, hands free etc

Original Brakedown flare in car

Brand new Alternator- Water Pump – Cam Belt and Auxiliary belts fitted less than 600miles ago

Light up kick panels – need looking at as they are intermittent on

Set of 4 spare alloy wheels with tyre (would swop over the tyres from exiting if changing them over)

Set of brand new Mazda side repeaters – was going to swop them over but never got round to it

Box of spares with new items never used, poly bushes, droplinks,rear bolts, remote key entry system never fitted and other new bits, complete set of rubber exhaust hangers

Rare to find set of replacement rear mudflaps

Front brakes upgraded to GPX break – Big improvement over standard GR IMHO

Aircon nice and cold.

All electrics work

Larger rear view mirror gives much better visibility over OEM item

Updated images with rare guages for Vac and oil

K&N Panel air filter

Only ever used best fuel in it E5 and a fuel additive

Owned last 18 years , I bought it 6 months after import so only 2nd owner in UK

Parts always bought through Viamoto excepts some hard to find items which are sourced through the extensive FTO groups and specialists in UK

Surface Rust noted underneath , Rust killer convertor used where required

Checked underneath of car 13/09/2025 there is no heavy rust, sills are ok

One spot of welding done underneath to a good standard

Age related marks but nothing bad

Car is 1996 so will need some practical TLC and wil be a great enthusiast care

Have used same jap car specialist local garage for 18 years

Huge file of documents and papers inc old tax discs

**Update - All brake hoses pipes have been replaced with new in 2024**

Reason for selling, after 18 years it’s time to move on an let someone else enjoy look after the FTO - I am changing cars and don’t have space for it
