The 1962 Volkswagen T2 Campervan Split Screen, often affectionately called the "Splitty," has a rich history that cements its place as one of the most iconic vehicles of the 20th century.

Originally derived from the VW Type 2 Transporter, which debuted in 1950, the Split Screen was Volkswagen’s answer to the growing demand for practical, multi-purpose vehicles.
