Body & Paintwork

Interior & Trim

Finished in Misano Red Pearl, this RS4 presents very well indeed.

The paintwork retains a deep lustre with only the lightest signs of age, consistent with a well-kept example.

Previously the car has been machine polished & had a coating applied, the later B9 Audi RS4 wheels are in excellent condition.

The grill has a small defect in the factory finish but that’s just us being picky.

Panel gaps & trims remain sharp throughout, with the B9 RS4 wheels giving the car an updated but OEM+ appearance.

All badges, glass & lights are of course in very good condition as you would expect.

Engine

At the heart of the RS4 lies Audi’s legendary 4.2-litre naturally aspirated V8, producing one of the most characterful exhaust notes of the era.

This example has been to renowned VAG specialists MRC where it had the all-important carbon clean treatment & also benefitted from an MRC remap, with dyno results showing an impressive 432bhp & 348 lb ft of torque.

Performance remains exhilarating, with linear power delivery & the unmistakable soundtrack that makes the RS4 so special.

The engine bay itself presents very well as you would hope.

Running Gear

The quattro all-wheel-drive system, combined with the six-speed manual gearbox, ensures superb traction & driver involvement.

The suspension, brakes & drivetrain remain in excellent order, reflecting the car’s careful maintenance record.

Original (and renowned for being problematic) suspension has been swapped out for Koni items.

The B9 RS4 alloy wheels provide a subtle but effective modern twist to the RS4’s iconic stance.
