Restoration Overview

This Mustang underwent a complete, two-year restoration project, with full documentation of every stage (invoices, receipts, and photos available).

All parts not listed below did not require replacement and were refreshed.

As the car is now in true “show car” condition—arguably even better than when it originally left the factory—the list of new parts installed is extensive and impressive.

Bodywork

The car was fully stripped down and sandblasted.

All sheet metal components that showed any concern were replaced with new ones:

• Rear panel under the tail lights

• Lower front and rear valances

• Lower sections of rear quarter panels

• New hood

• Hood hinges

Engine & Transmission

The engine and transmission were both sent to a specialist workshop in the U.S. for a complete rebuild.

Engine rebuild included:

• Pistons with pins (8 pcs)

• Oil pump

• Complete timing set

• Full gasket set

• Main bearings

• Rod bearings

• Piston rings

• 2x cylinder head rebuilds

• Cylinder honing

• Crankshaft grinding
