2006 LOTUS EXIGE

2006 Lotus Exige S 260

Welcome to the sale for my 2006 Lotus Exige S, which is finished in laser blue with touring and sports packs. HPI clear with a current mileage of ~42,800. This is a supercharged launch spec car with the following features:

Laser blue – a colour exclusive to launch cars

I've owned the Exige since 2022, and it's been a brilliant motor vehicle. The car was purchased from a close friend, who had bought it from Jon Seal; before that, it belonged to another friend's father. I always buy cars with good service history, which has continued throughout my ownership. Serviced with Millers Racing engine oil & brake fluid, and MT-90 annually. The Exige comes with its original wallet, a thick file of invoices, 2 keys, and 2 service books full of stamps.

New “Competition Clutches” Stage 2 organic clutch – Drives and feels like a regular clutch

Performance Autocare sports cat with interchangeable silenced de-cat

Performance Autocare GT3 style repackable “quiet” backbox, rear panel delete & customer Nimbus heatshield – original rear panel, heatshield and through diffuser style 2bular exhaust available if current system isn’t to your taste

Hanger 111 extended rear diffuser for above exhaust system

Upgraded Seriously Lotus fuel pump

Original wheels refurbed in satin Imola bronze with a new set of Lotus OE V105 tyres – ceramic coated

New Carbone Lorraine RC6 pads all round

2024

Front AP Racing callipers rebuilt and refinished with new braided brake lines

EliseParts tow post (whilst the clam was off for the above)

On Rails Engineering Bi-LED projector units fitted

Replacement Odyssey PC680 battery fitted

2023

Pro Alloy charge cooler fitted – replaces with OEM intercooler which suffers heat soak

Air con system overhauled with new sill pipes & dryer (common problem on S2 cars)

New front splitter

Seriously Lotus stud & nut kit fitted

2-stage polish and ceramic coated with Gtechniq products

2022

New front brake rotas fitted to aluminium bells with genuine AP racing fixing kit

Performance Autocare track based geo

The current MOT runs to 20th April 2026.

The history file (both physical & digital) contains many service and maintenance invoices totalling nearly £15,000 in my ownership and many more £1000’s prior. There are no warning lights on start-up and cosmetically the cars bodywork condition is in line with the cars age and mileage. The Exige has always been garaged and has never been used in road salt in my ownership – only being taxed April-October.

Like the bodywork, the interior condition is in good order for the cars age and mileage. All interior elements have been coated with Gtechniq L1 leather guard, with all exterior glass coated with Gtechniq G1 ClearVision.

This Exige was always meant to be a keeper, but with a baby on the way, a fleet shuffle around means I need to thin out the toy collection. I know I’ll regret selling this car. It took me a long time to find this example, and it's been pampered in my ownership.
