Jaguar combustion petrol vehicles are now obsolete and unavailable in the UK. This makes this car very special. Not only is it unregistered but it has only 300 miles and is an 'as new' example.

It’s a brand-new car that is 35 years old.

If you restored a typical XJS to this level then you would easily be handing over £100k plus and it will never be as good as this example. Many are doing exactly this.

You only need to look at prices of top end restomod vehicles including such brands as Fiats, Alfas which are £200,000 and in the case of Jaguar and Porsche, considerably more.

Now you’ll realise why I went out of my way to purchase this exceptional car. I was not alone, as others had the same thoughts as me. It had been owned by The Jaguar Legacy Collection from the day of its production in Sept 1994, which sadly meant little to the new Indian owners of JLR Group who have no interest in the history and heritage of this magnificent brand.

With a 20-year production run this final release ‘Celebration model’ benefitted from significant evolution of R&D and investment from its then owners Ford Motor Co. It also benefitted from many wonderful body and interior improvements. It’s accepted that the six-cylinder 4.0 engine released in 1993 for this generation of jaguars was the finest of all and gained an exemplary reputation for quality and reliability.

Not only because it is unique but in the limited colour of Black with Nimbus Grey leather, and the rarely seen manual gearbox, this is a very special piece of motoring history. A most beautiful car roof up or roof down, this will provide years of quality exclusive motoring or alternatively sit well in another collection of British motoring heritage whilst its value soars.
