Presented in very good condition throughout the paintwork is virtually unmarked and is in excellent order, as is the interior which shows very few blemishes. The electric hood is also in exceptional condition free from any rips or tears. Fitted with a set of Fuchs RSR alloy wheels the 964 looks fantastic and is a joy to drive. Running and driving as it should, the engine pulls well and the gearbox is smooth. In 2015 the 964 was treated to much restoration work including a comprehensive engine rebuild costing £5,639 undertaken by Porsche specialists Pickup Motorsport Ltd. The works included replacing the timing chains, main bearings, big-end bearings and piston rings, plus sundry belts, hoses, seals and consumables. The overhaul was part of a larger process of restoration work which also saw the 964 fully repainted and retrimmed. Accompanying the Porsche is a sizeable history file containing various maintenance, service, and restoration invoices totalling over £66,000! Also, included is the current UK registration document, the original Porsche drivers manual, and many old service and Mot records. Having covered just 6,000 miles since the engine rebuild this example is ready to be enjoyed and benefits from a recent service and a fresh Mot with no advisories valid until September 2026.
