It is powered by Land Rovers 4.4-litre V8 twin-turbocharged diesel engine (SDV8), which is widely regarded as the most desireable engine for the model, offering a claimed 0-60 mph time of 6.5 seconds and a top speed of 140 mph whilst producing 334 bhp and 740 Nm of torque.

Many V8 diesel engined examples of the L405 Range Rover have experienced hard towing miles, however this is not the case with this car that was optioned from new without a towing system, and has been lightly used by just 2 private owners from new.
