2008 VAUXHALL VXR8

For sale to fund a new toy is my 2008 VXR8 in Phantom black. Fitted with VF 20” wheels + matching spare, 395mm Wortec 2 piece discs all round with 8 pot front, 6 pot rear calipers. It’s had a Wavetrac diff fitted around 6k ago. PWP LS3 fitted around 5 years ago by Walkinshaw. Dyno’d at 534hp @ 6500rpm, 476 lb/ft @ 5500rpm. It’s mega lumpy at idle but pulls like a train from 2k and goes wild above 5k. Sounds epic through a full switchable Wortec exhaust and Walkinshaw OTR intake.

This year I’ve had the discs skimmed by Wortec and fitted new pads, fitted a set of BC Racing ZX coilovers, Pedders suspension arms, ARB links, refurbished the wheels, had the rear arches back to bare metal and resprayed, PPF on sills, wings, bonnet and bumpers and a full underbody clean and treatment. I replaced the headlining, fitted an Aerpro double din fascia and Kenwood head unit, fitted a Varta battery and given it a full fluid/filter change - engine, gearbox, diff and brake fluid.

It’s wanted for nothing with myself and the last couple of owners. I have receipts for tens of thousands of pounds spent on the upgrades. I’ve used it regularly, including some decent long trips and it’s always amazing….. it loves to be driven hard, nothing like my old VT commodore which was a lazy old thing - this is raw and uncompromising but given a big enough road is happy to cruise and 30mpg.

Condition wise it is excellent, with a lovely deep shine to the paintwork, the interior is really clean with some minor marks on the sills trims as you’d expect. It doesn’t look 17 years old!
