Each of the board members had brought different models of BMW that he oversaw the production of as his time as the director of the board. One of the other directors brought the BMW 507, the stunning roadster from the 1950s. Everyone fell in love with the roadster, they all preferred its looks and driving style over the rest of the cars that were there. So they decided to make a new one and the BMW Z8 was born. The car features a 4.9 litre V8 from the BMW M5 which is producing near 400bhp and will propel the Z8 from 0-60 in 4.5 seconds.
