Purchased as an unfinished project in 2017 by the present custodian who saw the potential in this superb 'Cobra' Replica

Built over the following four years utilising components from a 1990’s Ford Granada 24v Cosworth donor vehicle all attached to a new Pilgrim fully galvanised chassis

With motivation supplied by a V6 Cosworth engine delivering 210bhp through a Ford Type 9 5-speed gearbox, the 'Cobra' has more than enough power to be enjoyable and then some

Presented for and passing an IVA inspection in October 2021, the Pilgrim was duly registered on a period-correct 1965 registration number, HVK 705C

It presents beautifully in Imperial Blue highlighted by twin silver stripes over a full Magnolia Hide interior with digital instruments providing the all important mechanical readings

Rolling on 15" Minilite alloy wheels, the car is accompanied by a new black vinyl hood that has not yet been fitted together with a pair of new matching side screens

The history file includes some build images together with a selection of invoices and details from the build
