- CL65 Upgraded Wheels
- ABC Suspension replaced at last service
- In great condition (although some small marks here and there in line with its age)
- ULEZ compliant
- Comprehensive Documentation and service history
- Appreciating classic
- 62 of the supercharged versions on the road + 69 SORN (according to )
- Driven weekly
- Mercedes Benz Club
It took me 9 months to find this specific car, I was looking for a great condition version with a low mileage and a rare colour (not black or silver). In my time looking, I came across one in Scotland for 20k and was then was bidding on another (at classic car auction) which went for 26k in the end.
If you know these vehicles, they are a great entry point into classic Mercedes ownership and are appreciating year on year, with fewer on the road and demand increasing.
*Do not mistake this for a cl55 amg (non kompressor)
Please no time wasters, I am not desperate to sell the car, 18.5k or very near offers, no part exs either...
Model History - Mercedes-Benz CL55 AMG Kompressor (C215)
The CL55 AMG Kompressor, produced between 2002 and 2006, represents one of AMG's finest creations from Mercedes' golden performance era. Built on the C215 chassis, it was the flagship coupe of the Mercedes lineup combining elegant grand-touring comfort with brutal supercharged V8 power.
At the heart of the car is the legendary 5.4-litre supercharged V8 engine (M113K), producing 493bhp . This engine was hand-built by AMG in Affalterbach, following their "one man, one engine" philosophy, and shared with the S55 AMG, E55 AMG, and SL55 AMG of the same era.
With this unit, the CL55 AMG was capable of 0-60mph in just over 4 seconds and an electronically limited 155mph.
The C215's design penned by Bruno Sacco and Peter Pfeiffer remains timeless, with its pillarless coupe silhouette, subtle AMG body styling, and muscular stance.
Only a limited number of CL55 Kompressors were sold worldwide, and far fewer remain in good condition today, especially in right-hand-drive UK specification. The car is now recognized as a modern classic AMG, offering a rare blend of understated luxury, supercar performance, and everyday usability
