2007 NISSAN 350 Z

When launched in 2003, Nissan’s 350Z re-established the legendary Z nameplate as a serious drivers car for a new generation. It was engineered with a traditional front-engine, rear-wheel drive layout, a powerful naturally aspirated V6, and a chassis tuned for balance and precision. The later HR (High Rev) variant, introduced for 2007, represented the pinnacle of the model’s development with motivation provided by an updated 3.5-litre VQ35HR engine producing around 309bhp and featuring a dual-intake system, revised cylinder heads and variable valve timing. This version offered a sharper throttle response, improved mid-range torque and a higher 7,500rpm redline, complemented by a strengthened 6-speed manual gearbox and refined suspension geometry.

The 350Z GT combined genuine performance with everyday usability, offering traction control, Brembo brakes, a limited-slip differential, and a high level of standard equipment including heated leather seats, climate-control, cruise-control, and Bose premium audio. Capable of 0-60mph in around 5.5 seconds and a top speed limited to 155mph, the HR GT delivered classic rear-drive thrills with a level of refinement that made it an instant modern classic.
