Description
My Car:
I'm selling my lovely 2012 Jaguar XKR 5.0 V8 Italian Racing Red, Speed Pack + Black Pack, with FSH. I have owned this car since 23rd April 2022, when I purchased it from Chiltern Jaguar and Landover in High Wycombe. I'm selling my car as I have now scratched the itch of one of the best GT cars money can buy, and one of the most beautiful designs from the hand of Ian Callum when he was at JLR. On to my next sports car.
This XKR represents one of the best-value modern Jaguar V8 coupes left, rare spec, desirable colour and excellent documented history. Private sale from a non-smoker, available to view by appointment (weekdays/evenings). £24,500 ono, I’ll consider sensible offers. Please message me with a brief introduction to arrange a viewing. No tyre-kickers, serious buyers only. Thank you for looking at my advert, and good luck with your car search. Paul
£24,500 ono (private sale), serious offers only:
Impeccable 2012 Jaguar XKR 5.0 V8 Coupe in Italian Racing Red, a rare, head-turning colour on a highly specified car. This example is fitted with the Speed Pack and Black Pack, giving the full aero, sport brakes/wheels and satin-black detailing. 87,000 miles and owned with care, the car is in extremely good condition throughout, possibly one of the best in the country. All my detailing work (as with all my cars) has been impeccably carried out by Marque One Detailing (check out his website to see some very fine cars). I only use high-octane rated 99 fuel.
Full-service history, recent MOT (no advisories affecting sale), two keys, and a clean HPI/vehicle check. The interior features unmarked leather seats, a gloss black finish trim, and a working original infotainment system. Mechanically sorted, the V8 fires instantly, gearbox shifts cleanly, and the car drives exactly as it should.
Main maintenance works on the car since I have owned, are as follows:
• New supercharger nose assembly 03.11.2022
• New charge cooler pump 21.12.2022
• New front OEM disc brakes and pads 16.06.2023
• New Dunlop Sportmax J (Jaguar Specification) 21.10.2023

Performance upgrades I have done to the car since I have owned it are as follows:
Although the car sits lower than stock, I did these upgrades from a performance standpoint and not aesthetic reasons. This is a 510hp car, and in my opinion, it came out of the factory with a suspension that was far too soft for the immense power it possesses. I took it to Torque Developments International, with 40-plus years of excellence in race engine building, ECU calibration, car optimisation and performance upgrades, and they carried out the following work:
• H&R uprated springs front and back
• New Powerflex bushes for all front and back suspension parts
• New Rear upper wishbones
• Total works bill came to £4,347
The car now feels like it accelerates faster, stops quicker, goes around corners in a purposeful manner, rides bumps flatter, the nose turns in accurately, and it steers in a beautiful linear fashion. Even as a passenger, I can feel how these upgrades improve the car immensely. I don’t think an Aston Martin of this era would be much better. If you feel that you would prefer the car with the original springs, I still have these (they are in perfect working order). Torque Developments have quoted me to change the springs back and reset the geometry at £550+vat. I'm sure you could sell on the HR springs if you wished.
Paperwork & Receipts:
In the time I've had this car, I have kept all my receipts and paperwork, which has been catalogued in date order. The back of the folder is the oldest work, and the front is the newest work. All pages are clearly numbered so that you will be able to quickly see when all the work has been carried out. It can be difficult to get a good overview of the car you are buying if it is not catalogued clearly. I would have liked more paperwork, but due to the Private Information Act, Chiltern Jaguar could not supply me with this. All my maintenance has been carried out by Chiltern Jaguar. The MOT is due for renewal on 10.04.2026
Minor Blemishes:
There are some very small stone chips to the front valance (see photographs). The rest of the body work is in ‘incredible’ condition.
Thankyou for looking at my advert and good luck with your car search
