1997 LOTUS ELISE

Lotus Elise s1

For sale is my lotus Elise s1. 77800miles. This is a well sorted car that has had everything done and had a fortune spent on it. It looks and drives fantastic. Owned by myself and my dad since 2012. Never been in an accident. Norfolk yellow paint is in very nice condition. Panel gaps are spot on and even still on its original windscreen. Any inspection welcome. Original wheels, seats/runners, numberplate and other spares can be included by negotiation.

Rota wheels, 111R probax leather seats with new seat runners, 160s rear spoiler, nitron NTR suspension with uprated springs, janspeed exhaust. clutch hose replaced with braided line new slave cylinder. Elise parts upgraded alloy bells and disks kit. Probably lots more I have forgotten about.

In 2024

MGFT 135 cams fitted. Elise parts lightweight flywheel, Elise parts upgraded clutch kit, upgraded PG1 B4B P 8 close ratio gearbox built for this car by Andrew Goater with new quaife Limited slip diff fitted. Hurricane induction kit fitted. Prodimex upgraded short shifter fitted. Low mileage gear cables fitted. Padgid RS14 brake pads. Full set of upgraded vibratechnics engine mounts fitted. New coil, replaced all engine sensors. Elise parts electric boot opener.

In 2023 it underwent a mechanical overhaul.

New upgraded Elise shop heater matrix and surround.

New Elise parts black alloy radiator, Elise parts remote thermostat kit, replaced all the rubber cooling hoses for silicone hoses.

New Elise parts 4 branch manifold fitted.

New Elise parts adjustable anti roll bar fitted.

New Elise parts upgraded rear toe link kit fitted.

Brand new wishbones (£1700 alone) fitted all round with new Elise parts ball joints and bushes fitted.

Two of the wishbone bobbins have been replaced as a precaution due to some corrosion. This was done using ES550 with replacement plates from someone making them in Canada.

4x new wheel bearings fitted.

Elise parts upgraded Ali steering arms.

Elise parts quick ratio steering rack fitted. All brake pipes replaced and braided hoses fitted. Front Brake callipers rebuilt with new pistons/seals. New spitfire upgraded fuel pump kit, rubber fuel tank filled hoses upgraded for silicone. New CV joints and boots fitted. New brake master cylinder fitted. New windshield fluid bottle fitted. Brake pedal assembly removed and rebuilt. Window door seals replaced with genuine lotus seals. New fog and reverse lights fitted. All nuts and bolts replaced. fitted new timing belt, tensioner, genuine water pump.
