1985 MERCEDES-BENZ 280

This beautiful Mercedes 280SL is just out of a virtual 15 year hibernation, during which time it has only been allowed out for its annual servicing and MOT inspections. It would appear from the 32 MOT certificates chronologically filed in the car's history file, that this lovely car has never failed an MOT test. It has had only one driver from when it was new in January 1985 and was initially registered to Arthur Anderson and Company in London as a director's company car. Subsequently registered to the 2nd owner on his retirement from Arthur Anderson in 1992 with an approximate recorded mileage at the time of 17,500. Since then it has been very sparingly used due to the diminished health of the owner who has now sadly passed away. From day one, the car has always been garaged and was supplied by Hughes of Beaconsfield who carried out all of the servicing up until 1992 and has since been looked by two well qualified local garages, the invoices for which are retained in the car file.
