We have also had the car inspected by a Porsche specialists and any jobs that needed doing have been carried out to ensure this car is on the button, this includes replacing the rear main oil rear, new clutch kit.

The 996 generation was the first time Porsche ever created a GT3 and GT3RS version, making this car the origin story for the now world famous, track focussed 911 GT3RS cars.

Performance upgrades included Lightweighting: A strict weight-reduction program shaves 20 kg off the standard GT3's weight. This was achieved through:

A carbon-fiber bonnet and wing mirrors

A Perspex rear window

Reduced sound deadening

A single-mass flywheel

Enhanced aerodynamics: A large, adjustable carbon-fiber rear wing provides significant downforce to improve grip at speed. The front bumper also features exit vents for improved airflow.

Track-focused components: The car includes racing bucket seats, a factory-installed roll cage (for "Clubsport" models), and titanium components for the engine, suspension, and wheel nuts.

The car is powered by a naturally aspirated 3.6-liter "Mezger" flat-six, derived from Porsche's Le Mans-winning GT1 race car. Though officially rated at 381 hp, most reviewers note that these engines actually produced over 400 hp. It delivers a mechanical, unfiltered sound and requires high revs (up to 8,200 rpm) to deliver maximum performance.
