Overview
When it comes to negotiating the rough stuff a Land Rover Defender is the go to (well, go anywhere actually) choice for many, having proved itself time and again ever since its official introduction in 1990 when the Defender name became an entity in its own right. The arguably best four-by-four by far however can trace its roots all the way back to 1948, such is the extent of its long and storied history.
Available in a choice of wheel bases and with enough engines to satisfy most budding off-roaders, the Defender has always been a versatile vehicle, both in terms of specification and capability. Whether it be farm owners looking for a do-anything vehicle, endurance competitors taking on the likes of the Camel Trophy or honest to goodness petrolheads simply wanting to add a four-by-four to their collection, the Land Rover Defender has always been a consummate box ticker.
Continually improved upon during its rather impressive 26 year production run the Land Rover Defender has rightly achieved iconic status, with modern offerings providing a more comfortable yet equally impressive set of capabilities and this 2006 Defender is a case in point, but in this instance the comfort, and indeed capability levels have all been cranked to 11.
With over £60K worth of upgrades and modifications to not only the interior and exterior but the mechanicals as well, this particular Land Rover Defender 110 is a little bit special to say the least and has been elevated head and shoulders above the pack. From a full Exmoor leather trim interior and comprehensive pro sound system to a full air suspension kit and performance improvements this is Defender on steroids.
Tastefully done in order to enhance the car's already impressive stats this is a cracking example that presents in excellent condition throughout. The Defender also comes complete with supporting invoices for said work as well as full service history as detailed by the vendor. Reportedly running and driving perfectly, this then is a wonderful opportunity to own one very sorted Defender.

Summary
You could buy a stock Defender, and that would be absolutely fine, but once you've seen the level to which this particular example has been fettled then it becomes very difficult to ignore.
This isn't a case of merely bolting on after market bits and bobs though, far from it. This Defender has been professionally upgraded with quality parts and as such represents a unique and highly impressive example of an already excellent off-roader. Add in the accompanying paperwork and low mileage and you really are on to a winner.
