1992 NISSAN PULSAR

It is with great pleasure we can bring to market this remarkable collector-grade example of the Nissan Pulsar GTI-R.The GTI-R was rolled out by Nissan in 1990, and was developed as a top performance model of the fourth generation Pulsar N14, homologated for use in the WRC under group A regulations. It featured the 2 litre SR20DET turbocharged engine, producing 227bhp, and Nissans ATTESA 4wd system to fight off the likes of the Ford Sierra Cosworth and Lancia Delta Integrale. Unfortunately Nissan pulled the plug on its WRC campaign after just 2 seasons, but the road-going cars still exist, albeit very few in good, original condition.A lack of focus on rust prevention from the factory means cars that have spent a lot of time on UK roads are by now in the scrapyard in the sky, or have required serious metal work to keep them roadworthy. The UK tuner scene of the late nineties and noughties, has also resulted in very few cars being left as Nissan had originally intended, with many being tuned heavily to produce wild power figures.What we have here is an extremely rare and low mileage example of the marque, in completely stock specification bar a set of genuine BBS wheels. We imported this car directly from a Tokyo Auction ourselves in 2021, after a search spanning almost 18 months in Japan, looking for the perfect car.With only 34,000 certified miles from new, and 1 owner from new in Japan, this car is a true unicorn, and would make a wonderful addition to any serious collection. Condition throughout is remarkable, there is no sign of any rust on the underside of the car, and it has benefited from a thorough mechanical service recently, including the replacement of all fluids.Specification is stock, and the car even retains the original Nissan umbrella kept in a holder in the driver's door shut.The car drives as well as any JDM rally homologated machine that we have ever experienced, it feels tight and taught, and the engine and gearbox feel strong and fault-free.If you would like more information on this car please call us on 07825021812Viewing is highly recommended.
