History

Originally supplied new by Nico C Kattamis Ltd Cyprus, this WRX STI was serviced within its first three months by Stockport Subaru, demonstrating early attention to maintenance.

The car was then developed into a Cosworth-inspired specification with uprated internals, turbocharger & braking system, performed not out of necessity but purely to enhance performance.

Following its period of careful use, the car was placed into dry storage from 2015 until recently, when it was fully recommissioned with a cambelt service & MOT, returning it to road-ready condition.

Body & Paintwork

Finished in Dark Grey Metallic, the paintwork presents beautifully, retaining a deep gloss & excellent originality throughout.

The car has clearly been well cared for, with clean, straight panels & no signs of any damage or corrosion. Only a couple very light stone chips are present on the car, these are extremely minor but we like to be honest.

All badges, glass & lights are of course in ‘as new’ condition as you would fully expect.

Interior & Trim

Step inside & you are greeted with by the signature STI Recaro seats, as you would expect they are in fantastic condition with the leather & alcantara showing minimal signs of wear.

All buttons & switches are in excellent order, exactly as you’d expect given the remarkably low mileage.

The interior is unmarked, unmodified & complete, save for a discreet trio of auxiliary gauges showing boost pressure, oil temperature & oil pressure, neatly installed & in keeping with the car’s character.

Engine

Power comes from the legendary EJ25 flat-four, here fully enhanced to a Cosworth specification including forged pistons, rods, bearings, head studs & a hybrid MD555 turbocharger, supported by 750cc injectors.

An upgraded intake & Milltek exhaust help give this Impreza the airflow required & the legendary rumble that Subaru’s are known for.

Mapped to suit, the car produces a formidable 429bhp & 400lb ft, delivering true CS400-level performance while maintaining exceptional road manners.

The owner was disappointed with the factory performance of this Impreza and decided the Cosworth upgrade would satisfy his desires.

As a result, the engine work was undertaken for performance enhancement rather than repair, ensuring long-term reliability.

The car benefits from a recent full cambelt service & recommissioning.

The engine bay itself presents incredibly well & is remarkably clean as you can see from the pictures.

No smoking at all, either on start up, idle, boost or overrun.

As you would of course expect, the car drives very well with great power delivery throughout the rev range.

Running Gear

This Impreza drives fantastic as you would expect, the performance & handling upgrades really add to the driving experience.

A Genuine Cosworth AP Racing big brake kit provides exceptional stopping power, while AST Coilovers, Whiteline uprated bushes & Uprated anti roll bar complete a well-rounded, fast-road setup.

The original STI wheels are unmarked & present like new & are fitted with Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres preserving the car’s OEM appearance.

The underside presents in very good condition, further evidence of its careful ownership & limited use.
