1990 FORD SIERRA

A time machine may not yet exist but this time warp Sierra Cosworth is the next best thing. Settle into the ruched leather Recaro seats, put your best Duran Duran cassette into the tape deck and grab your road atlas from the back seat, youre off to the 90s!!, It is very clear that this car has lived a pampered existence and has thankfully escaped the neglect and abuse that befell the majority of examples. Supplied new by Dalblair of Ayr by 1991 it had headed south and was in the Hitchin area. There is a stamped service book that shows that by 1994 it had covered 69,000 miles when it was purchased by a gentleman from Bristol. He cherished the car and maintained it regardless of cost, using it sparingly and attending shows, until he finally parted with it in 2023 after 29 years of ownership! A good customer of mine bought the car in September 2023 and entrusted it to a Cosworth specialist to refresh the engine and give the car a thorough once over. The car runs and drives exceptionally well as you would expect with a car that has lead such a pampered life. It has 4 new Continental tyres as the last tyres were 21 years old (still with plenty of tread) another indication as to how carefully it has been driven. This car is open to any inspection.
