Description

Early Elise S1 with Honda K20A2 Conversion, 225bhp.
Stark conversion kit. All work carried out by myself over a 3 year period to a very high standard. Everything that needed replacing was done.
Donor engine had approx 50k on it when fitted I was informed but before install I changed timing chain and tensioner, new water pump fitted, new alternator and starter, new vtec solenoid, new clutch and clutch release bearing.
Below is a list of the main things done but will be many more:
- full Stark conversion kit with up rated fuel pump and upgraded driveshaft grease.
- Hondata Kpro v4
-Tdi ultimate ‘drop in’ camshafts fitted
- M2 motorsport manifold and 70mm billet throttle body
- Gearbox overhauled and new bearings fitted
- Quaife LSD
- Full suspension refresh, wishbones shot blast and painted with POR 15, new bearings, drop links etc.
- EP wishbone bearings
- Uniball toe link kit
- Brake calipers all overhauled and painted professionally with all new seals
- Braided brake hoses
- EP sports exhaust
- Bucket seats and race harnesses
- Gaz Mono shock absorbers
- Odyssey light weight battery
- Upgraded headlights
- New alloy radiator with twin fans
- EP ‘Exige’ style spoiler
- Geo set up and rolling road tuning by HPE Automotive
- Stack dash repaired and tested professionally and new cover fitted
- Black hood in excellent condition
There are many more things changed that I will have forgotten. I’m an engineer and a bit of a perfectionist so everything has been done right and to a high standard.
Private plate included.
Original car is an early lightweight version and had MMC brakes. I have all the pre-conversion parts including MMC discs and original engine that can be purchased separately if wanted. Also have original seats available.
Mechanically the car has had everything done and runs perfectly. I have done just 3 track days since the conversion and everything ran perfectly.
The only small downside is the body work has a few small marks in places (no osmosis) and the front clam could do with a re-spray as has a lot of chips and a small crack. I was never bothered as it was only going to be a track car for me.
I’m only selling as I have another project, still a Honda Elise!
Loads of receipts and some service history pre conversion, 9 stamps in service book.
I had a garage certify the quality of the conversion to register the engine change with DVLA.
Mot expired but booked in to have done this coming Tuesday.
